Tree Plantation and Village Employment Initiative

As part of our commitment to sustainable growth and social responsibility, Tarana Wireless India Pvt. Ltd.  recently supported/funded a Tree Plantation and Local Employment Initiative under our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) with 14 Trees Organization. This work was completed during 2025 and we look forward to continued initiatives with 14 Trees.

Greening the Future

This initiative focused on enhancing the region’s green cover and promoting environmental balance. Our employees, along with local community members, planted over 600 native saplings such as Chinch, Kanchan, Shindi, Tamhan, Kadulimb across Dhamani Gairan- Khed, Pune.

This effort aims to:

  • Restore ecological balance and improve air quality
  • Conserve soil and water resources
  • Contribute to carbon reduction and climate resilience

All planted saplings are being regularly monitored to ensure their healthy growth and long-term survival.

Empowering Local Communities

Beyond environmental conservation, this initiative created meaningful employment for nearby villagers. 100+ local residents were engaged in plantation, maintenance, and nursery work, offering them a sustainable source of livelihood.

Training sessions were also conducted to build skills in:

  • Plantation and sapling maintenance
  • Organic composting and water conservation
  • Environmental stewardship and green livelihood practices

Through these efforts, Tarana Wireless India Pvt Ltd is helping local families secure income while contributing to a greener and more self-reliant community.

Sustainable Impact

This initiative reflects our belief that true progress comes from balancing economic growth with environmental care and community well-being. We are proud to play a role in nurturing both — people and the planet.

Moving forward, Tarana Wireless India Pvt Ltd plans to expand this program by:

  • Increasing plantation coverage each year
  • Supporting community-managed nurseries
  • Encouraging youth participation in environmental awareness drives
